Capital Spin

Capital Spin

Give your playful side a whirl with this Centenary of Canberra spinning top inspired by Walter Burley Griffin’s circular plan for the city.

Capital Spin, made from salvaged Canberra trees, is a piece of local history. Starting in 1913 Charles Weston managed the planting of over two million trees and shrubs. Today, with one of the largest planting of urban trees in the world Canberra’s unofficial nick name is the ‘Bush Capital’.
