The elegant Salt bowls are made from various Tasmania timbers; Myrtle, Huon Pine, Celery Top Pine, Blackwood & Sassafras.

More new work by local ACT Wood Worker Robin Cromer showcasing a range of techniques and exceptional craftsmanship.

Wonderful new butterfly marquetry boxes by Max Clerteau have just arrived in the Gallery. Perfect for jewellery and keepsakes they are made from various timbers.

A “wow” box by Mark Hailston just arrived. It recently won first prize at the ACT Woodcraft competition in the Boxes (not turned) category. The box core is marine plywood covered with shop made veneer. The veneer is made up of the following timbers: Blackwood, Jarrah, Wenge, Tas Oak & Celery Top Pine.

Bungendore Wood Works Gallery, Veritas Tools Incorporated and Maxis Distribution, come together to present a special afternoon/evening on Tuesday June 7.

The event allows the Australian woodworker to come and see a comprehensive hand tool demonstration featuring a range of Veritas’s premium tools.

WA designer maker Adam Cruickshank’s Fletcher chairs are the product of great design, innovative production and fine craftsmanship.

They have been making a strong statement on the Gallery floor.

We have been having fun in the workshop creating some stunning new wood turned pieces out of Burl and Yellow Box. 

Beautiful Grinders made from Tasmanian timbers with a ceramic grinding mechanism. Suitable for Salt, Pepper or Spices. The grinding mechanism has a 25 year guarantee.

After refurbishing a table he made nearly 20 years ago Gallery Artistic Director David Mac Laren revisits the design with stunning results.
